Pittsboro, NC – Over the next several weeks, four Chatham County Collection Centers will be closed for construction. The centers that will be closed are:
- Siler City- 138 Silk Hope Road
- Bonlee- 1538 Elmer Moore Road
- Pittsboro- 180 Martin Luther King Jr. Road
- Cole Park- 11632 US 15/501 North
The asphalt at the centers are being patched and repaved, so vehicles cannot be in the centers. Each center will be closed for only one day assuming all goes as planned.
A few days prior to closing, we will post the closing date for each center on our website: www.chathamnc.org/recycle. Be sure to check there for updates so you can plan accordingly. You can also contact the Main Office at 919-542-5516 to find out if a center is closed.
