Two Chatham County school principals complete leadership program

Principals Bobby Dixon, SAGE Academy, and Chad Morgan, Silk Hope School, recently completed the Distinguished Leadership Program (DLP), a year-long leadership development program for practicing school principals designed and provided by the North Carolina Principals and Assistant Principal’s Association in partnership with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction and UNC-LearnNC.

Chatham deputies arrest robbery suspects at Cole Park Plaza

Chatham County Deputies responded to a suspicious activity call in the vicinity of Cole Park Plaza and possibly prevented an armed robbery about to occur. When deputies arrived, the store clerk of ‘A Cleaner World’ Dry Cleaning business advised they saw an individual outside the business that fit the description of a person that robbed their store a month ago.
