Chatham Community Library phone service will be out of service on May 24
Patrons of Chatham Community Library in Pittsboro will not be able to get through to the library by phone on Friday, May 24, beginning at 3:30 pm and possibly until closing at 6 pm that day. The outage is due to a scheduled upgrade to Central Carolina Community College’s phone system, which serves the library.
Consumer Reports: Store brands from Target and Walmart top latest sunscreen ratings
In Consumer Reports’ latest Ratings of sunscreens, Up & Up (Target) Sport SPF 50 spray and Equate (Walmart) Ultra Protection SPF 50 lotion earned the highest scores in tests and were among the least expensive. Some of the priciest sunscreens Consumer Reports tested offered less than their labeled SPF value, a measure of protection from burning UVB rays.
