COVID-19 testing taking place in Chatham County this week

Moncure, NC – There will be four days of COVID-19 testing in Chatham County this week. This testing is among the 55 upcoming testing events planned by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.

From Wednesday August 26 through Saturday August 29, free testing will be set up at the Moncure Community Health Center. The center is located at 7228 Moncure Pittsboro Road, Moncure, NC. Their phone number is 919-542-4991.

On Friday, free testing will take place at the Staunton Memorial CME Church at 230 Credle Street in Pittsboro from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Their phone number is 704-941-6000.

This week’s testing in Chatham will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesday through Friday, with Saturday’s testing lasting from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Children can be tested for free as well.
