New Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center launches website

Pittsboro, NC- The Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center will open to the public in the second quarter of 2017, but a specific date for the meeting facilities to be available for reservations has not been announced yet. However, those interested in finding out more about the facility, its policies and fees can visit the new website at ChathamMeetings.com.
Ag Conference Center webpageSome internal events for county attendees will appear on the center’s calendar before the public can reserve it.  This will be used as a period to practice processes and equipment before the official public opening.
“Once we have a firm opening date, we will announce it so that people can start to make reservations,” said County Manager Renee Paschal. “First impressions are so important. We want people to know that everything is working and the event is handled professionally.”
The website includes meeting room diagrams, setup options, policies for different types of events, services available, audiovisual information, fees and many other details. You also can apply to be an approved caterer.  The site also includes a link to fill out a form to be listed as a vendor providing non-food services, such as decor, entertainment and event planning.
The Agriculture & Conference Center on the west side of Pittsboro has been designed to host a wide variety of events, from trade shows, exhibits, conventions, receptions, banquets, weddings, reunions and many other activities.. It the largest multi-purpose venue in the county.

The Pittsboro-Siler City Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is in charge of marketing the new center and led the development of the website. The CVB serves the entire county and is fully funded by the local occupancy tax paid by visitors to lodging facilities.
