Raleigh, NC – The NC State men’s basketball team will take the court for the first time this season when they face Lynn University on Thursday, Nov. 3. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. at PNC Arena. It will be the first of two exhibition games for the Wolfpack.

The Wolfpack was picked sixth in the preseason ACC media poll. NC State returns two double-figure scorers from last season in Abdul-Malik Abu and Maverick Rowan. The Pack also welcome back senior BeeJay Anya, the school’s all-time leader in blocked shots.
The Pack adds a consensus top-10 recruiting class to this year’s team, led by five-star prospects Dennis Smith, Jr., and Omer Yurtseven. Torin Dorn, the Conference USA Freshman of the Year in the 2014-15 season while at UNC-Charlotte, will make his Wolfpack debut after sitting out last season to satisfy NCAA transfer requirements.
Lynn University, located in Boca Raton, Fla., went 13-15 last season. The Fighting Knights graduated their top four scorers from last year’s team. The top returning scorer is sophomore guard Jamal Palmer who averaged 8.7 points per game last season.
