Pittsboro, NC – The Town of Pittsboro invites community members to share their input on the Chatham Park South Village Section Design Plans 2.1, 2.2, 2.4, and D2, covering 1,341 acres currently zoned Planned Development District within the Chatham Park South Village. The property (Parcel ID 7403) is located within the Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ), south of Roberson Creek, north of Charlie Brooks Road, east of Moncure Pittsboro Road, and west of Gum Springs Church Road.

Written comments may be submitted through the Chatham Park South Village Section Design Plans Public Input and Comment Form. The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete and is available on our website under the Engagement tab HERE. The form will remain open until 11:59 PM on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.
In addition to written comments, the Town is accepting oral comments during the public comment period. To submit an oral comment, please use phone number (984) 282-6647 and leave a voicemail including your name, address, and feedback. All comments will be shared with the Town of Pittsboro Board of Commissioners.
The public comment period, including the online form and oral comments, will remain open until 11:59 PM on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.
The Town encourages broad participation, including residents within Town limits and the ETJ, nearby neighborhoods, business owners, property owners, and those who work, study, or regularly visit Pittsboro.
Community members will also have opportunities to provide public comment and feedback at upcoming public meetings, which are listed at pittsboronc.gov/agendacenter and on the Town’s calendar at pittsboronc.gov/calendar.
