Pittsboro, NC – The Chatham County Public Health Department is committed to making sure everyone who wants to get the COVID-19 vaccine can get it when it is their turn. The health department is in the process of scheduling COVID-19 vaccine appointments for adults age 75+
Those who are 75 years old or older should complete this form at chathamnc.org/vaccinetool or call 919-545-8323.
The information you provide will be added to the Chatham County Health Department vaccine interest database. Include only one person per submission. Once you complete the tool you do not need to call or email them. They will contact you.
Currently the following groups are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine:
- Healthcare workers at high risk of exposure to COVID-19
- Long-term care residents and staff
- People 75 years of age and older
Eventually, everyone who wants a vaccine will be able to receive one.

Phase 1B, Group 1
Anyone 75 years and older
Starting Jan. 6. 2021
Phase 1B, Group 2
Anyone 50 years and older who is either a healthcare worker not included in Phase 1A, or a frontline essential worker (first responder, police, etc.)
Starting Jan. 20, 2021
Phase 1B, Group 3
Any other healthcare workers or frontline essential workers
Starting Feb. 8, 2021
Phase 2, Group 1
Anyone 65-75 years old
Phase 2, Group 2
Anyone 16-64 years old with one or more high-risk medical conditions as defined by the CDC
Phase 2, Group 3
Anyone incarcerated or living in other congregate settings
Phase 2, Group 4
Essential workers not yet vaccinated
College & university students, high school students 16 years or older
Everyone who wants a COVID-19 vaccination
