Sanford, NC – Central Carolina Community College has been nationally ranked as No. 25 in The Best Community Colleges & Trade Schools of 2020 by BestColleges.
Previously, CCCC was ranked first in the Niche 2020 Best Community Colleges in North Carolina rankings.
CCCC President Dr. Lisa M. Chapman said of this most recent recognition: “I am so proud of our college. H. Julian Philpott Jr., Chairman of the CCCC Board of Trustees, noted: “We were excited to learn that Central Carolina Community College was recently recognized as one of the Top 25 Community Colleges and Trade Schools in the nation by BestColleges in its rankings for 2020. The ranking, which BestColleges issues to ‘inform and guide prospective students toward institutions that provide quality education and meaningful learning experiences at affordable costs,’ demonstrates that CCCC is fulfilling its mission to ‘foster individual, community, and economic development through transformative lifelong learning.’

Central Carolina Community College offers a wide variety of programs, as students can earn associate degrees or college transfer credits, diplomas, or certificates. CCCC also offers instruction in such areas as Short-term Job Training, College & Career Readiness, Personal Interests, Business & Industry, and Emergency Services Training.
