Pittsboro, NC – The annual Chatham County middle school basketball tournament begins this Monday, February 10. The first round games of the tournament will be played on Monday and Tuesday.

The first round of the tournament begins with the high seeded schools hosting the lower seeds. The semifinal and championship games will be held at Margaret Pollard School in Northeast Chatham.

The girls’ semifinal games are scheduled to be played on Wednesday at 5 pm and 6:15 pm at this year’s host school, Margaret Pollard Middle School located on Andrew Store Road off 15-501 .
The boys’ semifinal games are scheduled to be played on Thursday at 5 pm and 6:15 pm at Margaret Pollard Middle School.
The championship games are scheduled to be played on Monday, February 17 at Margaret Pollard Middle School. The girls’ championship game will begin at 5 pm and the boys’ championship game is due to start at 6:15.

Admission for first round is $3 for adults and school-age children. The semifinal and championship games fee is $5 for both adults and school-age children
Free admission to all games for those 4 years old and younger; Chatham County Schools employees with identification badges; and those with Chatham County Schools senior passes.
Last year the Margaret Pollard boys and girls basketball teams captured the 2019 Chatham County Middle School basketball tournament championships.
