The Pittsboro Police Department’s will hold a Coffee with a Cop event at the Pickle Jar Café, located at 480 Hillsboro St, the Chatham Marketplace on Saturday, August 18 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. Several officers, including Officer D and Sergeant Womack will be attending the event. Some officers who participated in the LipSync Challenge video will also be present.
Coffee will be provided by the Pickle Jar Café free of charge. The restaurant will have several breakfast options available for purchase, including a breakfast plate and French toast.
Anyone who lives, works or plays in Pittsboro is invited to attend. There will be no scripts or speeches as the event is designed to encourage dialogue between residents and the officers who serve them.
