Firehouse Subs donates $28K of extrication tools to Siler City Fire Department

Siler City, NC – The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has awarded the Siler City Fire Department Hurst extrication tools (cutter, spreader, ram and accessories) valued at up to $28,729.

With receipt of the official notification on July 2, 2018, the department entered into a new era of vehicle extrication. With the addition of these extrication tools, Siler City Fire department services will be greatly enhanced as will their capabilities. 

“The ability to serve and protect not only our citizens, but also the surrounding fire departments and the citizens of Chatham County, has greatly improved,” Fire Chief Scott J. Murphy said. “The Siler City Fire Department wants to thank the Firehouse Subs Franchise in Asheboro and the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation for their generous gift.”
