Pittsboro, NC – Several Chatham County and related state offices based in the county will be closed to the public on January 3-4, 2017 when they will be moving into the new Agriculture & Conference Center off of US 64 west of Pittsboro. The offices affected are:
* Chatham County Center of Cooperative Extension, 919-542-8202
* Soil and Water Conservation District, 919-542-8240
* Chatham County office of the NC Forestry Service, 919-545-2720 (this is a new phone number that will not be active until they are moved in)
PLEASE CALL IN ADVANCE: Even though the offices should be moved by Jan. 5, 2017, these offices ask you to please call in advance before visiting for two weeks after the move. Many services will be limited during this period as offices are set up and files and equipment moved.
