Snow Camp, NC – From August 3 to August 6, Snow Camp Outdoor Theatre will stage their final productions of their successful 2016 season. On August 3, the final performance of their children’s show The Golden Apple will go up at 7pm. Their second children’s show, The Pirate Prince, will have its final performance on Saturday, August 6, at 10 am. Pathway to Freedom, this summer’s mainstage show, will be shown August 4-6 at 8 pm.
Pathway to Freedom tells the story of the Underground Railroad and the people of this area—Guildford and Alamance County specifically—who participated in this flight for freedom. It features a cast of over 30 local and non-local actors. Its themes, and their incredible relevance today, as well as its moving music, have entranced audiences all summer.
The Golden Apple is a fairy tale mystery featuring such characters as Snow White, Robin Hood, and Little Red Ridinghood. The Pirate Prince is a fun musical about a young prince who runs away to become a pirate. Delighted audiences have enjoyed both shows this season.
Tickets are still available for all shows, but this will be the last opportunity to see any of them before the season closes. Call 336-376-6948 to book tickets with a credit card, or visit the website, snowcampoutdoortheatre.com to book tickets online.
