Pittsboro, NC – Two Northwood lacrosse players have been selected by U.S. Lacrosse as Academic All-Americans – 2016 senior goalkeeper Eric Franklin and junior defender Wesley Roberson.
Their selection was a first for the Northwood lacrosse program.
Both Franklin and Roberson also were selected for the Big-8’s All-Conference team for 2016. In addition, Roberson was selected as the Big-8 Conference Defensive Player of the Year and also received honorable mention for the eastern North Carolina All-Region team.
