Pittsboro, NC – Chatham County has a vacancy on the Triangle South Workforce Development Board, which oversees the planning, policy guidance and oversight of the workforce investment system in Chatham, Harnett, Lee and Sampson Counties. The deadline to apply is Friday, June 24, 2016.
The goal of the board is to combine area employment, training and support services and programs into a consumer-based, market-driven system that meets the needs of job seekers and employers.
The vacant seat would fill a four-year term ending June 30, 2020. The board typically meets every other month in the Harnett County area. The Chatham County Board of Commissioners will approve the appointee.
