Stadium Policies & Information
Information on Durham Bulls Athletic Park policies and attractions is available here: http://atmilb.com/1YyIIqj. The sale of beer and wine to those of legal age will be extended to all ticketed patrons. The alcohol policy enforced by the Durham Bulls at games will be in effect for the 2016 ACC Baseball Championship.
The 2016 ACC Baseball Championship will be played May 24-29 at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The first round and pool play games on Tuesday–Saturday will be televised on RSN. RSN coverage details can be found at http://theacc.co/base16rsn. The 10-team tournament will conclude with the championship game at noon on Sunday, which will be nationally televised by ESPN2. Following each game, postgame press conferences with the head coach and selected players will be streamed live on theACC.com. Fans can view these at http://theacc.co/base16pressers.

The ACC will honor America by recognizing the men and women of the Armed Forces during the ACC Baseball Championship Game on Sunday, May 29. The All Veteran Group Parachute Team will be delivering the game ball. The group of former and present military members has conducted over 50,000 parachute jumps and will have three members parachute into the ballpark prior to the game. The first pitch will be thrown by Lieutenant Colonel Dwyer of the United States Army, who has served four combat tours in Afghanistan.
ACC FanFest will take place from 2-7 p.m. on Saturday, May 28 and 9 a.m.-noon on Sunday, May 29 during the 2016 ACC Baseball Championship. The free event will include autograph signings with ACC baseball players on Saturday, May 28 from 2-3 p.m. and 5-6 p.m. ACC FanFest will be held on Blackwell Street outside of the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Open to the public, the event will feature ACC Corporate Champion attractions, inflatables, food and beverages, an official championship merchandise store, music, novelty stations and fun for the entire family.
The ACC, in partnership with the Triangle Sports Commission, N.C. Development Baseball and the Durham Bulls, will host the Triangle Youth Classic at the ACC Baseball Championship (TYC at ACCBC). The youth baseball tournament for 12U, 11U, and 10U travel baseball teams will be held in conjunction with the ACC Baseball Championship.
The ACC will host Education Day during the 2016 ACC Baseball Championship Game on Thursday, May 26. Approximately 300 students from Dynamic Community Charter School, East Chapel Hill High School, Granville Central High School, The Hawbridge School, JF Webb High School, Kerr Family YMCA, Leesville Road High School, Mintz Christian Academy, Murdoch Developmental Center, BART-Murdoch, Project SEARCH/ABSS and Walter M. Williams High School will attend the 11 a.m. game.
The ACC continued an initiative to recognize local Teachers of the Year by inviting them to ACC Championship events. The Durham Public Schools Teacher of the Year finalists and their guests were invited to attend the championship game of the ACC Baseball Championship.
