North Carolina Democratic Party’s top activists and elected officials will meet today to choose a new party chairman. The State Executive Committee of more than 600 people will gather in Pittsboro, the hometown of the embattled outgoing chairman Randy Voller. The event will take place at Northwood High School. Registration begins at 9 am.
