Bootstrap Chatham presents “Start-Up Screw Ups”

Siler City, NC – Join us for the next Bootstrap Chatham event, “Start-Up Screw Ups” on Tuesday, October 11 from 7 pm to 8 pm in room 232 at the Siler City CCCC campus on 400-A Progress Boulevard. You will hear from local entrepreneurs about their experiences as first time business owners and the lessons they’ve learned on the job.

The entrepreneur panel will include Becky Starr, owner of Starrlight Mead in Pittsboro, John Dooley and Wandee Norwood, owners of JD PowerSports in Siler City, and Travis Cohn, the artist behind Siler City’s Reptires.

An informal networking opportunity will follow the panel, so come out and join us.  This is a great chance to hear from other business owners and share your own experiences.  Entrepreneurship can be a lonely path, but you are not alone.

Bootstrap Chatham events are free, but space is limited, so reserve your spot today.

To RSVP, contact Mari Howe at or 919-542-8277.

Bootstrap Chatham is a monthly entrepreneur networking event – for entrepreneurs, by entrepreneurs – sponsored by the Chatham County Economic Development Corporation.  Have an idea for a program or a topic you’d like covered? Let us know.
