A Chatham County campground formerly used as a youth retreat will sell at absolute auction Saturday, July 9, with Woltz & Associates managing the sale. The 287-acre property — located at 2480 Hadley Mill Road, Pittsboro — will be sold in five tracts, with one 57-acre tract including the former retreat’s main campus, complete with an administration building, dining hall, commercial kitchen, classrooms, library, athletic fields and bath and shower facilities.
