Town of Pittsboro seeks volunteers to serve on Parks & Recreation Advisory Board (PARAB)

Pittsboro, NC – The Town of Pittsboro is seeking engaged and civic-minded residents to serve as Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) members on the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board (PARAB).

Members are appointed by the Pittsboro Board of Commissioners and serve three (3) year terms. Appointments are based on demonstrated interest in public service, sound judgment, relevant knowledge and ability, and a commitment to serving the community with integrity.

The Town encourages residents to take an active role in local government by applying for advisory board positions. This is a valuable opportunity to contribute your perspective, support parks and recreation initiatives, and help shape the future of Pittsboro. Community members are also encouraged to share this opportunity with others who may be interested in serving.
