Pittsboro, NC – At Monday’s Chatham County school board meeting, Mr. Chris Blice, the Assistant Superintendent for Operations will recommend construction of a new sign for Northwood high school.
The Chatham Park Investors have agreed to construct a new sign for Northwood High School to be located on the corner of Northwood School Road and Highway 15-501. The approved permit documents which show what this will look like are HERE. A draft of a work easement document will be presented to school board to approve pending final review by the board attorney.
The cost of the construction project will be covered by the Chatham Park Investors. Chatham County Schools will be responsible for the final planting and landscaping of the new sign and surrounding area.
