Video highlights from Duke Blue Devils’ win over Temple, 30-0

Durham, NC – The Duke Blue Devils begin the 2022 season, and Head Coach Mike Elko’s tenure, 1-0 with a 30-0 win over the Temple Owls on Friday evening. Blue Devils quarterback Riley Leonard connected on 24 of 30 passes for 328 yards and 2 touchdowns and rushed for 64 yards in the win. Duke WR Jalon Calhoun led the way with 90 yards on 6 receptions, and Jordan Moore added 6 catches for 77 yards and a touchdown.

Duke quarterback Riley Leonard put on an impressive performance in the Blue Devils’ season opener. Leonard completed each of his first 15 pass attempts in the game.  He finished the game 24-30 for 328 yards and two touchdowns.  Plus, he was Duke’s leading rusher with 64 yards on 11 attempts. 

Riley Leonard’s third completion of the night for Duke was probably his best as he throws it over a defender and right into Sahmir Hagans’ hands for a 39-yard touchdown in this ACC Must See Moment.
