Second man arrested in murder of David Batsche

Bear Creek, NC – Chatham County deputies arrested a 19-year-old man Thursday in connection with a murder of a Chatham County man more than a month earlier.

Tyree Jermaine Allsbrook, 19, of 164 Alston Road in Apex, is accused of shooting and killing 20-year-old Emerson David Batsche of Bear Creek.

Allsbrook is being charged with first degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to sell and deliver schedule VI, possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule VI and possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number.

At this time no bond is authorized for his release.

This is the second arrest in the case regarding Batsche’s death. The sheriff’s office arrested Kenneth Bass Jr. on June 9 for second degree murder charges. Authorities are still searching for Shyquaule Javon Fisher, 25, who is also facing a charge of robbery with a dangerous weapon.
