- PUBLIC SAFETY: Public safety offices remain open 24/7, including holidays.
- COUNTY PARKS: County park facilities (not the main Parks & Recreation office) are open throughout the upcoming holidays except for Christmas Day. You can go walk off your New Year’s Eve calories at the parks on New Year’s Day.
- WASTE & RECYCLING COLLECTION CENTERS: The Collection Centers will close early at 2 PM on Christmas Eve and closed all day on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. The Bonlee, Cole Park, Pittsboro, and Siler City centers will be open Wednesday, December 26. All centers will reopen as usual on December 27. Please note that the Solid Waste & Recycling Main Facility will be closed from Monday, December 24, through Wednesday, December 26
