Public thank you to Cassie & Phillip Kinney and others for hosting a fundraiser

Pittsboro, NC – I publicly want to thank Cassie and Phillip Kinney, owners of Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes & Fries in Pittsboro, for all their hard work and generosity in hosting a pancake breakfast fundraiser to benefit SonShine & Blessings on Saturday, April 7. I thank them also for giving their time, place of business, tickets to be sold, various paper and plastic products and other breakfast related items to make the event possible. The food was delicious and the fellowship was great!

pancake breakfast fundraiserPlease be sure to support their business and thank them for the work they do to help support SonShine & Blessings and other local non-profits.

Also, I want to thank the many people who helped to sell tickets, get the word out about the event (including the Chatham Chatlist and Gene Galin), came to work, and of course, all those who came to eat and support the cause.

Saturday, I watched a whole bunch of people, some of which I knew very well and some I didn’t know at all, come together at the crack of dawn to work, fellowship, and support SonShine & Blessings. I got to see and visit with board members, volunteers, students and clients as well as quite a few past students, friends, family, and even strangers. I was blessed! 🙂

Thank you to SS&B’s board members, volunteers and supporters, to all my friends, church family, family, and my husband who came out to help. I especially thank our Lord Jesus for blessing me with forgiveness of my sins, salvation, my home in heaven, and the joy I felt on Saturday from all the love and support! I pray that God will bless each and every one of you for your efforts!
