Apex, NC – This is in response to the comments and question from Mary Phyllis about Thales Academy.
My daughter attends Middle School at Thales Academy in Apex, and I have been extremely pleased with the curriculum and extra curricular activities offered in Middle School. I can only speak about Middle School as she did not attend Elementary school there. She is currently in 8th grade so this is our third year.

Some of the electives offered are Band, Chorus, Performing arts, Art, Personal Fitness and Curriculum Assistance. They do not have an orchestra at this time. In 8th grade PE is offered twice a week for two quarters and three times a week for the other two quarters.
Now that the Apex facility has its own junior high and high school campus they will be offering after school athletics, this fall it is volleyball and cross country. In addition they have a slew of after school clubs…Chess, Math, Latin, Science Olympiad, Robotics, Glee Club to name a few.
