Pittsboro, NC – Scholarships are available for Chatham County residents through Central Carolina Community College.
1) PAHI Scholarship: Covers the cost of registration
Eligibility Requirements:
– Chatham County Residents ONLY
– Must be registering for a Chatham County Continuing Education Medical Course at CCCC

– Scholarships are based on financial need
– Must write an essay on your need and how this class will benefit you
2) SECU Scholarship: Offered by the State Employee Credit Union and the SECU Foundation
$750 for registration, fees, child care, transportation and living expenses
Eligibility Requirements:
– Chatham, Lee, and Harnett county residents ONLY
– US Citizen
– One of the following target groups
o Unemployed, underemployed,
o National Guard
o Military Vets and spouses
o Enrolled and attending a short term training program that leads to an occupational-specific, state regulated, or industrial-recognized credential that is offered through CCCC continuing education.
o Not be a director, employee, or family member of an employee, of the State Employee Credit Union or SECU Foundation
