July 13
Eat at Bella Donna’s on “Money Monday” to support the Community Lunch.
Mark your calendars to eat at Bella Donna’s “Money Monday” the 2nd Monday of each month. Donna gives 10% of the total day’s sales, dine-in or take-out, to the Community Lunch program. This is a fund raiser in support of The Community Lunch that serves a free hot meal to the community every Thursday, noon to 1 pm, St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, 204 West Salisbury Street, Pittsboro, NC. Wellness of Chatham will be hosting its next meeting from 6:30 – 8pm at the Joyful Jewel, 44-A Hillsboro Street in downtown Pittsboro.
David Hamilton, LMBT will be presenting the talk Coming Home to the Body. Through his own experience of healing from chronic pain, David has learned how the body stores traumatic events and how it can heal. In his discussion, David will share what he has come to know about the art and science of healing trauma. He will talk about some simple practices to apply to physical pain in order to become more at home in the body.
David is a Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist and a 2nd year student of Somatic Experiencing. He works in private practice in Pittsboro and serves as a teaching assistant at The Body Therapy Institute in Siler City.

Hickory Mountain United Methodist Church Weekly Bible Study
All are welcome to join us for Bible Study on Monday’s @ 6:30p or Tuesday’s @ 10a. Feel free to join even if the study is in progress.

Downtown Dharma
Interested in meditation? Buddhism? The Downtown Dharmameditation group meets Thursdays 7:00 – 8:30pm and Saturdays 10:00 – 11:30am onthe second floor of the Blair Hotel Building in downtown Pittsboro (above the Toy Store, use the outside stairs). Everyone welcome, any level of meditation experience (or none!). Free. Dropin anytime.
In addition there is an introductory meeting on the second Monday (7:00pm) of every month for basic meditation instruction (this month that will be July 13). This is a good time to begin for newcomers to meditation. For more information email Joe ()or Marcia ()

Wake Up Wednesday. Networking begins at 8am at the Carolina Brewery in Pittsboro. The address is 120 Lowes Dr #100 Pittsboro, NC 27312.
The program runs from 8:30-9:30 am. Admission is $5 and includes all you can eat fresh breakfast by The Carolina Brewery’s Hop Shop as well as the opportunity to connect with other people doing business of all types in Chatham County and beyond.
The purpose of the meeting is to help grow each others business and build trust within the community. If this is something you are interested in please let me know so I can save you a seat. Space is limited. We generally have 35-45 community business leaders in attendance. Please be prepared to give a 1 minute infomercial about your business and bring plenty of business cards.
