This is Leslie Burwell’s thirteenth year directing Visual Arts at Northwood High School and her fifth year as chair of the arts education department. In addition to teaching, she serves as the faculty advisor for Northwood’s National Art Honor Society chapter and as the faculty liaison for the Northwood High School Arts Education Foundation. Since June 2014 she has served as one of two NHS educators selected to be a member of NC Governor’s Teacher Network.
