Chatham County libraries announce revised hours and June 28 closing

All Chatham County Public Libraries, located in Siler City, Pittsboro and Goldston, will be closed on Tuesday, June 28, due to an equipment upgrade. The branches also will have revised or reduced operating hours as of July 1. As part of Chatham County’s efforts to reduce its operating budget, the library branches revised operating hours, with a focus on closing a few hours a week during less busy periods.
