Six first-year players from different schools comprise the inaugural Coaches All-Atlantic Coast Conference Freshmen Team announced on Monday.

Three members of conference champion Miami have been named to the inaugural Coaches All-ACC Basketball Defensive Team, which was announced on Monday.

Miami’s Shane Larkin, who led Miami to the 2013 Atlantic Coast Conference title, and national scoring leader Erick Green of Virginia Tech are among first-team honorees on the inaugural Coaches All-ACC Basketball Team announced on Monday.

After finishing first in the ACC standings during the regular season, Miami’s players knew exactly what they wanted to do for an encore. “We want more,” said Hurricanes center Julian Gamble.
